The Flash Series—Bannister Derby
As a part of our ongoing Flash Series, I’d like to introduce you to one of our all-time best selling dress shoes, the Bannister Derby.
The shoe is named after the legendary distance runner, Sir Roger Bannister who was the first person to ever break the 4-minute mile barrier. This was considered widely impossible in the running community making the feat one to remember.
In the months following, dozens of other runners were able to break this barrier but Bannister was the first. We are inspired by stories of people doing the unimaginable and in a similar vein look to break boundaries in the comfort and quality you would ordinarily expect in the shoes you wear every day.
